Compressed Air Leak Survey

Our highly experienced surveyors will carry out a comprehensive survey of your site to locate all compressed air leaks.

We Will Carry Out a Compressed Air Leak Survey of Your Site - No Disruption to Air

Independent Air Leak Survey

You can be assured that our work is carried out in the most professional manner possible.

There will be no interruption to your compressed air system and our surveyors are highly experienced in working across all industries.
  • All our surveyors are highly experienced

Our surveyors carry out comprssed air leak surveys accross all industries and have extensive experience and knowledge in conducting this type of inspection.

  • We only use the most sensitive equipment

We use the UE Systems 'Ultraprobe' series of ultrasonic detectors with a rance of attachments to allow us to detect distant or very small leaks.

We have ATEX rated equipment for use in hazardous areas.

  • Safety is our main priority

Safely carrying out a survey is our and your main priority. We issue a risk assessment and method statement for each and every survey we carry out as well and fully adhering to all site rules.

  • Detailed reports issued within 5 days

Upon completion of a survey we will issue you with a detailed report which contains images, descriptions and the costs in £ per year of each leak  we have located. This report allows you to prioritise repairs effectively.

More Information

Compressed Air Leak Survey

Locating and repairing leaks in compressed air systems will save your organisation a significant amount of money.

Compressed air is the most expensive energy source on your site. Of the total energy supplied to a compressor, as little as 8% to 10% may be converted into useful energy.

The average leak rate on UK sites is estimated between 20% and 50% which represents a huge cost to business, as well as producing unnecessary carbon emissions.

Our compressed air leak detection survey will ensure that your compressed air system is free from leaks so that it can run at its optimum level, thereby reducing operating costs.

Compressed Air Leak Example

Our professional surveyors will visit your site and conduct a compressed air leak  survey using high sensitivity ultrasonic detection equipment which ensures that we find all leaks.

      Why Have a Survey Done

Compressed air leaks are a common problem in compressed air systems and are mainly due to normal wear & tear.

However, their impact on the efficiency of your system is significant. The cost of running a system can grow substantially as the leaks increase over a period of time.

A leak, if it remains unrepaired will continue to waste energy, thus leaving your compressors less efficient.

Eventually your compressors may be unable to cope with the demand of the system which may impact the operation of plant and equipment.

             The Survey Itself

We will conduct a full compressed air leak survey of your site using our high specification hand held ultrasonic air leak detection equipment.

We are able to work in noisy environments as our equipment is able to differentiate between the different types of ultrasonic emissions encountered within all industrial and commercial situations.

There will be no disruption to your operations during a survey so the inspection can be carried out during normal working hours.

When we find a leak we tag each one, record details and take photographs so that remedial work is able to be organized and carried out efficiently.
During the survey we determine the following:
  • The location & size of each leak
  • The cost (in £ per year) of each leak

Our Report

Upon completion of our compressed air leak survey, we produce a detailed report which contains details, photographs, and costs of each individual leak.

The process is straight forward, clear and a provides you with a clear pathway to keep your compressed air system leak free and operating cost effectively.
